Your clients want more than just a company description – they want a human being, and they want success stories. And the best way to tell your story is through feedback from your happy customers.
If you have real people on your profile talking about how good your service is, the level of trust goes rocketing up. So whenever you do a piece of work that a client is really happy with, don’t be too modest to request an endorsement. Ask their permission to use a short comment (no more than 100 words) that outlines what you did for them and why they were so pleased with the result.
It’s also worth calling up your client backlist to see if anyone is willing to provide a testimonial. You never know – they may even take the opportunity to hire you again.
